       This first gallery showcases my recent work in the TeknoRat and TeknoZebra series. The TeknoRat series is based on the Chinese zodiac symbol of the Rat, and a talisman I wear around my neck.  There's some good stuff in here.  Also, I am unvailing my TeknoZebra series, only two strong at the moment, this may soon expand. I have been toying with this idea on paper during one of my more boring classes at school.  My thanks to Ms. J.P.

       The background of this was done with a cool plugin.  Kang has some of the craziest effects.  I used the magic wand and rubber stamped this crazy background onto the picture

       "Weird Rat" is based on the same design. The layering is different, specifically, the blending is "difference" and the bacround shows through even on the actuall character and border.

       Here's the first zebra pic.  It's pretty basic but the shading is easier on computer than on paper.  I drew the blotches and then did gradients with the insides of the blobs selected and then with the outter grooves selected.

       Here, I used supperate spotlight positions on the background and foreground to try to give a sense of depth.  It looks crispy with higher resolution

       Now this one is a little crazier.  I worked on this in U.S. history class during some speeches.  I started with the blobs and then drew a gradient in them.  I gradiated off of curved lines, circles and recumbant folds. Photoshop doesnt have really curvey gradients but I used the circle tool a lot.
